Rooms

Male Students

a-North Campus
  • - A unified model for all rooms.
  • - Cost: 8000 EGP per semester.
  • - Room contents: bed, comforter, pillow, wardrobe, desk, office chair, wall-mounted bookshelf, drawer unit, nightstand, and bed linens.
  • - There is a laundry room on the ground floor available for students to use throughout the day.
  • - There are 2 microwave ovens in the building available for students to use throughout the day.
  • - There are 2 refrigerators on each floor for all students in the hotel-style room buildings and one refrigerator in each apartment in the apartment buildings.
  • - There are viewing halls and study rooms in some buildings for all students to use.
  • - All rooms are air-conditioned and have Wi-Fi access.
b-West Campus

- West campus has four different room models:

  • Model (1): A room with a private bathroom and multiple areas for 12,800 EGP per semester.
  • Model (2): A 22 m² room for 11,200 EGP per semester.
  • Model (3): A 14 m² room for 10,000 EGP per semester.
  • Model (4): A 12 m² room for 8,000 EGP per semester.
  • - Each room is furnished with a bed, comforter, pillow, wardrobe, desk, desk chair, hanging bookshelf, drawer unit, nightstand, and bed linens.
  • - There's a laundry room on the ground floor that students can use all day.
  • - Each floor has a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, and water kettle that students can use all day.
  • - All rooms are air-conditioned and have Wi-Fi access.

Important Notes:

  1. The prices mentioned are for accommodation only and do not include the cost of meals.
  2. The accommodation prices are calculated based on a 4-month academic semester. Should the start or end dates of the semester change, the prices may be adjusted.
  3. A security deposit of 3,000 EGP is required for new students, while returning students must pay a 1,000 EGP deposit supplement. This deposit is a one-time payment for the entire duration of the student's stay.
  4. No student will be accommodated until they have paid a) The accommodation fee (according to the chosen room model). b) The security deposit (for new students) or the security deposit supplement (for returning students).

  • - South Campus offers apartment-style accommodation. Each apartment consists of three rooms. The cost is 8,000 EGP per semester.

  • - There's a laundry room on the ground floor that students can use all day.
  • - The building has two microwaves for students to use all day.
  • - There is a refrigerator in each apartment for all residents.
  • - All rooms are air-conditioned and have Wi-Fi access.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I apply for accommodation in the university dormitories?
A student's desire to stay in the university dormitories is registered during the registration process on the university's SIS website by selecting "Would you like to stay at the university dormitory?" and answering "yes". All requests will be collected after all application stages are completed, and an email with all the details will be sent to all admitted students who meet the accommodation requirements for the university dormitories.
  • The student must be "Enrolled" in the university, which is after the student obtains their university ID number and their university email.
  • The students must have already registered their desire for accommodation in the university dormitories when registering on the university's website, as mentioned previously.
  • The student must not be a resident of the Alexandria governorate, as the bus service is available for students residing in the Alexandria governorate.
  • The student must have obtained a high school diploma or its equivalent from outside the Alexandria governorate, except for STEM Alexandria schools for students residing outside the Alexandria governorate only.
Accommodation fees and security deposits for the university dormitories are paid online only for admitted students through the university city's Housing System. An email with all the relevant details will be sent.
The student logs into the university city's Housing System, chooses from the available rooms, and then completes the payment of the security deposit and accommodation fees for the selected model to confirm the room reservation.
The student can log back into their SIS account to review whether they registered their interest in accommodation. If the students did not select their preference for staying in the university dormitories, an email should be sent to the university dormitories' administration to register the student's desire for accommodation, for students residing outside the Alexandria governorate only.
Payment links will be sent after the final stages of university registration are completed and the student has received their university ID number and email.
According to the university administration's decisions, accommodation requests from students residing in the Alexandria governorate will not be accepted in the first phase of housing in the university dormitories, as the bus service is available for them. A student can submit an accommodation request after all new students have been housed, if there are available rooms.
Housing is assigned automatically according to the model chosen by the student, and it is not required to assign adjacent rooms for specific students. Room transfer requests may be accepted after all students have been housed in the university city.

A student is allowed to bring in the following appliances after sending an email with their pictures to the university dormitory’s administration and registering them at the university city's entrance gate:

  • Mini Bar

  • Sandwich Maker
  • Rice Maker
  • Microwave
Students who were already residing in the university dormitories at the end of last year (returning students) will be housed first. Then, the remaining available rooms in each model will be offered for new students to choose from.
